Last week I spoke before a roomful of amazing women in Fayetteville and shared the message that everything in our lives is perfect and just as it is supposed to be – even when the winds of chaos, challenges and even tragedy are swirling. It’s a talk I’ve given hundreds of times, but this week I need to hear my own message, and listen carefully.
It’s only Wednesday but it’s been a rough week. There have been airline flight changes (that kept me away from home for a full 24 additional hours), gloomy skies, re-arranged schedules, roof repairs, a lost wallet, sick kids and at the forefront, heavy hearts for friends touched by tragedy. In all this chaos, I know that to keep things on track and lift up those around me that I need to keep myself grounded and focused. One of the things I concentrate on is a list of personal affirmations. My list hasn’t varied much over the years – these work for me. I say them out loud and repeat them daily – and during times like this – sometimes multiple times a day. This list has provided me support, offered me important reminders and carried me through many a challenging day.
I decided to share them you with you today. I challenge you to say some of them out loud and even make your own list.
My Affirmations:
I am a vessel for good in the world.
I lead a charmed life.
The best in everything always comes to me.
I am healthy, fit and strong.
I am enough.
I am safe.
I am disciplined.
I am grateful for everything, all the time.
I am a powerful manifestor.
I am always in the right place at the right time!
Quick tip: At the end of reading these affirmations, I always say ‘I choose to create all of this or something better’ to attract even more than my imagination allows me to see right now!
Let me know what the affirmations conjure up for you – I’d love to hear. Whether my list or yours, I hope the words bring you comfort, peace and courage. This week I’ve needed all three!
